PlanBite is private by design. It runs on your device, and your meal‑planning information stays on your device. We don’t have accounts, and we don’t track you.
Daniel Rabkin (“PlanBite”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) built PlanBite to collect as little as possible. This Privacy Policy explains what information PlanBite handles when you use the mobile application (the “Service”) — and, just as importantly, what we do not collect.

PlanBite does not require an account — there is no sign‑up, username, or password. The information you enter is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers:
Because this information lives only on your device, we cannot see it, and deleting the app (or using “Reset app data”) removes it.
If you start a free trial or subscribe, the purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment card details.
To unlock and restore your membership, we use RevenueCat, a subscription‑management provider, which processes a limited set of purchase data on our behalf:
This is used only to verify your subscription and enable “Restore Purchases.” It is not used for advertising and is not linked to your name or contact details.
PlanBite can send an optional weekly meal‑plan reminder. This is off by default; we request notification permission only when you turn the reminder on, and you can turn it off at any time. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device.
PlanBite does not:
Dietary preferences and allergies are used only to tailor recipes and plans on your device. You remain responsible for checking ingredients and confirming that meals are suitable for your dietary needs.
Because your data is stored on your device, you are always in control. You can erase everything at any time in Profile → “Reset app data”, or by deleting the app. For any questions about your data, contact support@planbite.co.
PlanBite is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Keeping your information on your device, rather than on our servers, is a core part of how we protect it. We also follow reasonable practices to keep the Service secure, though no system can be guaranteed completely secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and make the new version available in the app.
